Originally from the D.C. area, I made Richmond, Virginia my home in 2015. I studied art at George Mason University, but for a time, painting took a back seat in my life. Since moving to Richmond, however, I’ve experienced an artistic rebirth. My studio has become a sanctuary—a place where I can explore, reflect, and create.

Painting is more than a practice for me; it’s a way to process emotion and navigate the complexities of life. I work primarily in oil, drawn to its rich color, depth, and the deliberate process it demands. My subject matter is rooted in the everyday—scenes from nature hikes, quiet walks, or fleeting moments captured in a photograph.

I believe the world is filled with beauty worth reimagining. My goal isn't to replicate what I see, but to use it as a starting point—to transform the familiar into something expressive and new. Through my work, I hope to create a sense of connection, inviting others to see their own experiences reflected in the textures and tones of each painting.
